Mystique Facilities
The large wooden-clad lakeside house sits 20 metres from the water's edge. Sleeping up to 12 people, it is a great place to gather friends and family.
You will also find a hot tub and above-ground pool (2mx4m, 80cm depth) at the venue which are completely private to your party. The pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of August. There is an additional charge of 125e to hire the hot tub - please let the lake owner know at least 72 hours in advance if you wish to hire this (their contact details are on your holiday info pack once booked).
You're also welcome to night fish whilst sleeping in the accommodation, as long as you are fishing directly outside and have your receiver with you of course.
Accommodation Living Space
The ground floor is laid out in open-plan style, with kitchen, dining and lounge areas combined. The area is spacious and light, with views of the lake.
The kitchen has a cooker, gas hobs, microwave, kettle and fridge/freezer for food. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided, as are pots and pans, but guests are asked to bring their own tea towels. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine.
The dining area seats up to six people comfortably, and is well-positioned for dinner service close to the kitchen and breakfast bar.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy eating outside on the large wooden table just outside the front door and there is a barbecue and additional seating area closer to the lakeside.
In between lake walks and eating experiences, guests may want to relax in front of the TV. The comfortable lounge area has a large corner leather sofa. You will also find various board games available for your use.
WiFi is available in all areas (both inside and outside, around the lake) and there is a full Sky package (UK channels). The property is connected to the mains water supply, making the water safe to drink. Whilst there is no central heating, a wood-burning fire keeps it cosy inside, whatever the weather.
Accommodation Bedrooms
There are three double bedrooms on the ground floor and a fourth very spacious bedroom on the first floor with another double bed and a further two pull-out camp beds if required. The double sofa bed in the living room can also be utilised, meaning the accommodation can comfortably sleep up to 12 people.
All three downstairs bedrooms have plenty of clothes storage and double-glazed windows overlooking the rear of the property. Bed linen is provided for all beds, but please bring your own towels.
A travel cot is available, please request in advance if required.
The family-sized bathroom, with shower and bath, is located on the ground floor at the rear of the house, reached from the lounge area.
Other facilities and things to do nearby
There is a garage if you need to store any tackle items and a large chest freezer for bait. We provide landing mats and weigh slings on site and ask you to please use these.
All the shops and restaurants you need are a 10 minute drive from the venue. The beautiful Mont Saint-Michel is an hour's drive, making for an enjoyable day out.
Please note; the owners live in the detached house next door, separated by a small fence, and are there to help if you need anything but will otherwise they will leave you to enjoy your holiday.
