The Carp House Rules

Arrival: No earlier than 1pm
Departure: Please leave by 11am

When you make a reservation, you agree to abide by the site rules. Any breach of the rules, or abuse of alcohol or drugs, will result in immediate exclusion from the site, with the possibility of legal action.

SAS ‘JF Econature’ declines all responsibility in the event of damage, accidents, theft or violence during your stay.

Fishing Rules

- Strictly NO-KILL

- All fish caught, whatever their species, must be returned to the water alive, with the utmost care

- Rods must be under constant supervision by an angler

- Landing nets and landing mats with weighing bags are provided at the swim. Two weighing stands are also available. To avoid any transmission of disease to the fish, it is strictly forbidden to use your own landing mat, weighing bag or landing net, under penalty of immediate exclusion

- Fish medical care kit (such as a Korda kit) is mandatory

- Waders are recommended for catching fish in complete safety and for photographing yourself with the fish

- A bucket of water (supplied) should be used to keep the fish moist during their stay on the mat

- Fish to be released immediately after weighing and photographing

- Braid for mainline is strictly forbidden, nylon (not braid) shock leaders are permitted

- The use of lead-core and leadless leaders is strictly prohibited

- You must use rigs that release the lead in the event of breakage, such as lead clips and helicopter rigs

- Single barbless hooks only, micro barb tolerated. We may ask to check your rigs

- Seeds/particles must be thoroughly cooked

- Peanuts, hazelnuts, groundnuts, chickpeas, hard and uncooked seeds are strictly forbidden

- Baitboats are permitted

- The use of a personal rowing boat is forbidden

- A boat and a life jacket are provided on site for your use, but the following rules apply:
* Lifejackets must be worn at all times on the boat
* It is forbidden to use the boat while wearing waders
* It is forbidden to use the boat at night

- The use of bait rocket and spomb is authorised

- Marking and any other technique that may damage or excessively tire the fish are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate and permanent exclusion


General Rules

- *IMPORTANT* Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to dispose of your waste on site. Please bring plenty of garbage bags and take your rubbish away with you. We are sorry for this inconvenience

- Dogs are welcome, but must be noted on the booking and excrement must be collected and placed in rubbish bags

- Please bring your own bed sheets, towels, tea towels etc for the lodge. Duvets and pillows are provided for the beds but your own sheets MUST be used on the beds at all times

- The solar system allows for electric and charging, but can not support high-wattage items like hairdryers. Please be mindful of this

- The water onsite is not drinkable, please make sure to bring your own drinking water

- The swim and lodge are carefully cleaned and must be left as you found them

- Children (under the age of 16 years) must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times

- If you have any problems, please inform the manager at the earliest opportunity so they can be rectified

- Any photos or videos you send us may be posted on our social networks

- If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
