Ok basic but just about manageable, we lost electricity for a few days but they did try and sort asap

This is my 3rd time at Beaurepaire and know imo could do with a revamp fishing was slow but that’s fishing previously was very good with plenty of runs, electricity was a problem especially when self-catering but like I said Sophie was soon on it

Details of your catches:

12 fish in total, 10 carp all over 30lb with three over 40lb. Two Catfish, one 46lb and one 14lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Ground bait I believe but I am the least experienced angler so was guided by the experts with me.

Were the facilities what you expected?

They were adequate for what we needed. The shower room was good but the cooking facilities weren't the best but there was enough fridges and a large chest freezer so perfectly good for a drive and survive.

Were you happy with them?

Yes I was

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes I would, the lake was lovely and really well kept and the owners were very helpful. Everything an angler needs for a week was there including big fish albeit it was hard fishing for the week.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Again yes, this was my first time away fishing and could not have picked a better lake. The experts I went with all agreed that we would come back next year.

General Comments:

I had a great week on a great lake with a good bunch of lads. The fishing was hard but I learned a lot and did eventually catch a lovely 37lb common which made the week.

Were the facilities what you expected?

We are frequent visitors to this Lake and the facilities whilst basic are adequate

Were you happy with them?

Yes, However the shower water had a slight colour & odour due to the siqnificant rainfall in the weeks proceeding our visit

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes without hesitation. This was our 5th or 6th visit since 2009 and we will consider visiting again in the future

Angling Lines had kept us fully updated on this trip throughout the pandemic and remain the leaders in the French fishing holiday market. We would highly recommend A.L

General Comments:

The water level was the highest we have witnessed, with the spit area being under water and therefore totally unfishable. All 4 of our party caught with x2 personal bests. Tony AKA the Birthday Boy a Mirror of 53lb and Mark a P.B Cat of 91lb 8oz

General Comments:

Had a great week, lovely lake and very good facilities. I caught some very nice fish, it was well worth going. Beaurepaire is so easy to get to from Calais. Sophie is an extremely pleasant lady and very helpful too.
