General Comments:

Sophie was great the facilities were basic but more than adequate, fish started spawning on our arrival so fishing was very slow. Sophie told us it had not been fishing well but hey we cannot control that. Lake is definitely not big enough for 8 anglers. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you experienced a slow week on the lake. We recommend the lake for up to 6 anglers and limit it to 6 on any non-exclusive weeks where groups are sharing. We only allow up to 8 anglers where the lake is booked exclusively for the week.

Excellent stamp of fish in this lake, all carp caught from 29 to 45.5lb, including three grass carp, the largest at 37lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small baits, tiger nuts over particles produced the most fish. The boilies from FAE were excellent fresh baits too.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Excellent facilities, UK and EU plug sockets, two showers with nice hot water. A large chest freezer, and several fridges.

Were you happy with them?

Sophie was an excellent host, everything was clean and tidy on arrival.

Yes, already have.

We fished mainline cell to start with had a few. Then we tried 2 pieces of sweetcorn topped with a pop up sweetcorn and it worked amazing. Brett catching 12 fish, Darren catching 4 fish and I also caught 4 fish.

We all had a really good holiday, we enjoyed it that much that on the fifth day we booked it for next year!

Yes the facilities were good with 2 showers and plenty of fridge freezer space.

Yes the facilities were good enough for 6 anglers.

Yes we all agreed it was a lovely lake set in nice surroundings . Sophie was very friendly and helpful . I ordered bait in France to be delivered to the venue unfortunately I made a mistake when completing the order. But Sophie was soon on the phone and sorted it all out for us. The lake itself is set in quiet surroundings so you do feel like you have had a holiday at the end of the week .

Yes I would definitely recommend Angling Lines to a friend. Anytime I phoned up with a query they always answered in full, leaving me feeling confident of what to do or expect .

General Comments:

I was pleased with the communication we recieved from Angling Lines regarding any ferry crossing changes.
