General Comments:

The lake had risen by about 3 foot the week before we arrived and continued to rise by about a foot a day 2angler on the east side were catching fish about 1 a day from the island that was well under water but no real sign of fish any ware else on the lake most of the areas we could fish were over 14/15 foot we couldn't Evan catch a roach with maggots . We had strong winds lots of rain snow ice and on one day the daytime temp hit 20 degrees so I don't think we had much of a chance we tried every thing we could think of And the electric was out on the last day so we couldn't use the toilet or shower.

9xcarp ranging from 26lb biggest being 44lb, 2xbream

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

to be honest we struggled to get them feeding, water levels were very low and a mixture of high n low temps with thunder storms. but what we caught wa with a good spread of bait and sitting and waiting for them to get on it. all bar one fish came at night or very early morning.

facilities were adequate and did exactly what it said on the tin.

no complaints whatsoever.

General Comments:

a lovely lake set in rural pontavert. bernard and fluer are very welcoming and will help no end. all in all a good weeks fishing

17 carps and 3 catfish (stayed until wednesday. 16 mirrors, 24, 26, 27, 29 (3x), 31, 33 (2x), 35 (2x), 37, 41, 42, 45 lb. 1 common 18 lb. Cats 64, 57, 33 lb.
