Details of your catches:

Very poor. Probably only 10 between 3 of us.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

You can only use Tiger Nuts/ Plastic baits due to the plague like numbers of Poisson Chat and Crayfish. Also, casting is impossible (in places) due to the overgrown trees above the swims so you need a bait boat. Managed to put up with the place for 3 days before I left. It wouldn't be so bad if the place was looked after, but it simply isn't. I spent the first day cutting branches off trees so I could actually cast.... *Angling Lines comment* Our lake description does warn anglers that poisson chat and crayfish are present, but we have never received feedback before stating that they are in ''plague like numbers''. Perhaps you were unfortunate to have a lot in your swim whilst you were there. On our lake description on the venue page, we suggest that swims 5, 6, 7, 9 & 12 are easy casting areas whereas swims 7, 10 and 11 have some overhanging foliage which means you may find it more difficult to cast, in this case a bait boat would be advantageous. We note you had booked swim 10.

Were the facilities what you expected?

No. Shower and toilet are filthy, pegs falling apart, overgrown trees stopping you from physically casting. No excuse for not cleaning, not cutting trees. *Angling Lines comment* Whilst we appreciate the facilities here are basic, we have received no other feedback this year stating dissatisfaction with them.

Were you happy with them?

Absolutely not. The facilities haven't changed (or been cleaned it seems........) since I was there 2 years ago. One disgusting toilet and one awful shower for >20 anglers. One of our party had his wife with him, and she refused to use the facilities they were that bad. There is simply no need for unclean facilities, overgrown trees,
