Arrival and departure times
Please arrive no earlier than 13:00
Depart no later than 11:00
Vehicles and traffic on the site
The circulation of vehicles around the water is authorised on arrival and departure, and for unloading. Vehicles must then be parked behind the swims in the places provided, without affecting the circulation around the lake.
The maximum speed allowed around the water is 20km/h.
Bait boat and boats
Bait boats are allowed. Boats and inflatable boats are allowed, as well as electric motors and echo sounders. Life jackets must be worn at all times when using boats.
The use of baitboats and boats needs to be reasonable and please don't break the rules about distances. Fishing zones of each swim must be respected.
One rowing boat per swim is compulsory. If you do not bring your own, you will be required to hire one (available on site).
General rules
- From the end of November until the beginning of March there is no running water in the facilities due to freezing conditions (although the toilet can still be flushed using a bucket of water). Solar power remains unaffected.
- Only bivvys, brolly green or camouflage are allowed.
- Fire on the ground is forbidden. Only standing barbecues allowed and cold ashes must be emptied into a garbage bag and taken away at the end of the session. A bucket of water must be nearby when you make a barbecue to prevent any fire from starting.
- Hunting and swimming are strictly forbidden on the site.
- Toilets and sanitaries facilities are at your disposition, please keep them in a clean state (clean them if necessary after your visit, thank you).
- Swims must be clean at the time of your departure and all garbage must be picked up. It is forbidden to throw your cigarette butts on the ground or in the gravel pit, please pick them up and throw them in the garbage. It is also forbidden to wash yourself, wash your dishes, relieve yourself in the gravel pit or in the nature.
- It is forbidden to cut down trees, shrubs or plants.
- Dogs are allowed only if they stay on your swim, do not wander, do not destroy the surrounding vegetation or the facilities on site, do not disturb the other fishermen (aggressiveness, barking etc). Thank you for picking up the poop of your dogs.
- Lighting at night must be done discreetly, please try as much as possible not to illuminate the water.
- Correct attitude required on the site. Drug consumption, drunkenness, disturbance or disrespectful attitude towards other anglers will cause immediate exclusion without refund, and may lead to legal proceedings.
- Each fish is listed by photo with their size and weight to help us to follow the population. Some of them have tags. Any mutilation, attempted theft or stealing will cause a plaint at the police station.
- For your safety, the site is on video surveillance 24 hours.
- We are lucky to have a wild and pleasant site, thank you for respecting the environment and the lake.
- Children (under the age of 18 years) must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Fishing rules
- Only 3 rods per angler, NO KILL ONLY!!
- Simple hook only, microbarbed only, no barbless. Size of hook between 2 and 6, no smaller hook please!
- IMPORTANT: one rig per rod. We once saw one rig + a chod over this rig on the leader… that’s totally forbidden.
- Mainline need to be minimum 0.30mm, braid on the mainline is allowed but only with a mono shockleader at the end!
- Lead needs to be free from the line, and the rigs need to permit to the fish to release in case of you break. The rigs resistance need to be unless the mainline resistance.
- Leadcore are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN, you could use Fluorocarbon leaders or tubing to replace it (we have some tackle to sell, just let us know what you need).
- Large landing nets and unhooking mats are obligatory. Mats need to be wet before using. Only rigid weigh slings allowed.
- Fish need to be handled with attention, wet frequently and released quickly. Sacks are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
- Home made particle is not allowed at the lake.
- Reasonable baiting quantity please, we can take the decision to put a limit quantity per day at some periods of the year.
- Boilie guns are forbidden.
- Pike and perch fishing is forbidden.
- Bite alarm volume should be low please so as not to disturb other anglers.
- Each angler needs to respect their swim area, if people disrespect this then we can ask you to leave definitively the lake.
- No rods left in the water unattended if you leave your swim for a social or going to sanitaries.
- You give us permission to use the photos of your catches to use them on our website and social media.
If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
