Great fish in the lake but fish were off the feed that week. 38 fish in total only 14 off the big lake. Biggest 50lb, smallest 19lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

safety lead core system, lightest lead i could get away with, 10-12inch hook link, stick mix and hard boilie as cray fish about more than paul thinks. Particle works well but i favour boilie if you can keep them on long enough.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were better than expected, we could cook together, no need to take any cooking facilitys at all. Lake clean and well kept, except for the kray twins!!!!!!!!!!!

General Comments:

Lovely venue, Paul and Franck were warm, friendly and informative. Jonchery is a lovely venue. Fishing was slow this week, a massive rain and hail storm cooled the water after a long heatwave. Beautiful fish in super condition and there in numbers. We tried different tactics, most of the fish came in the night time and in deeper parts of the lake. Overall caught less than we expected

General Comments:

Would come back April/October months. Nice water, we expected it to be a little deeper, also we didn't count on the water being that warm. The swim/venue was what we expected. Still had a good time and overall we are satisfied.

Fishing swim 2, we caught 26 fish in total. 6 of those were over 33lbs. 2 were 44lbs+.
