The Key to Fishing Laroussi, 15th Oct

Anthony, fishing Laroussi this week, had a big problem after arriving on Saturday. His daughter accidently locked the van with the keys inside. With all his gear now locked inside that made it impossible to set up and fish!

I managed to find him blankets, bedchair, cooking stuff etc...

After having a think I finally found the solution by making a new key at Ford directly. I took him the surprise yesterday morning, he jumped on me he was so happy!

So no fishing for the first 48hrs. He casted out this morning, first bite, 60lb2oz mirror! A new PB!

Monster Carp, 25th Sep

Laroussi produced a whopping 67lb(!) mirror last night from the L'anse swim.
Angler Steve Gaunt smashed his previous PB of 56lb 5oz. Here’s what Steve had to say;

‘Fish fought really hard , bite happened at 3:30AM at 65 Yards along the margin from L’Anse peg on a spot that Mehdi suggested to me the previous day! I’m over the moon! Great place, we’ll be back!

Catfish and carp!, 13th Sep

The last 3 weeks produced some really good fish.

2 brace of catfish all over 100lber have been caught in the last 2 weeks (110 to 125lb).

Today as I'm writing this news, another one has just been landed again over 100lb! That makes 5 catfish in a row over 100lb! Without counting the monster one caught last year at 165lb.

Regarding carp, forties and fifties are coming out, 55lb, 54lb, 54lb, 49lb, 51lb and this week saw a 55lb6oz, 51lb, 44lb6oz common and a brace at 54lb and 58lb!

Last week, a stunning dark 66lber's been landed by John Huddleston's party.

A few big grass carp met hooks, biggest one at 49lb12oz.
