Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Washed out DNA bug boilies 15 and 18 mm with mixed particle and flaked maize. Hook bait choice was match the hatch, fake plastic maize, DNA bug 18mm double bottom hard hookers or snowman with DNA bug 18mm hard hooker and 16mm bug pop up.

Were the facilities what you expected?

As described, all clean and functional. And met our needs for the week.

Yes, very nice natural venue. Plenty of action on the carp front. Bailiffs came round every other day to check in, ask if you needed bait and then left you to it

General Comments:

Peg 11 is pretty snaggy so I would highly recommend leaders. The margins are tree lined and are over growing into the lake so I would set the rods up locked up or on a tight clutch. The gravel bar near the buoy line there is some quite sharp areas and also got the right stuck there a few times. Also quite a few crayfish

4 carp only: 36, 26, 18, 16lb. Hard week of fishing like we heard almost everywhere due to weather etc. We lost 4 fish.

General Comments:

Unreal service from angling lines. Venue immaculate and would recommend to anyone. Marginal snags need removing ASAP otherwise perfect!

Details of your catches:

I fished swim 11 and landed 28 carp to 46 pounds. I also lost approximately 12 fish

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I fished boilies on a d rig over partiblend and boilies using a bait boat, fishing for a bite at a time rather than baiting heavily. For context I used 20kg of particles and 15kg of boilies.

Were the facilities what you expected?

I've fished Lepinet before and the facilities are good and I was pleased that there is now an extra toilet at the venue

Were you happy with them?

Yes - good showers and washing area, plenty of chest freezers for bait and upright fridge freezers for food and drink plus multiple charging points

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes Lepinet is a great venue and has some really good fish. However, as per other reviews it is important to be aware of the number of snags and also gravel bars, so upgrade your tackle and line accordingly when you fish this venue.

I have total faith in Angling Lines and the service they provide. I would particularly like to acknowledge the help from Jo Noble while I was at Lepinet this time as I had significant issues with my car; Jo rescheduled my return ferry on multiple occasions and I was able to book an extended stay at Lepinet while the car issues were resolved.

General Comments:

The fishing was very prolific given I was not fishing nights and probably only fished the equivalent of five full days given all the disruption caused by my vehicle. Also to say the other anglers on the lake were brilliant and took me to the supermarket to get more supplies and offered to drive me to collect my car when it was ready; this support was very much appreciated.
