Excellent Lake, Nice cabin, Fishing very good. Richard is a top bloke, listen to what he says and you will put more fish on the bank.

Boilie and light baiting. Fishing hard during hot days but picks up at night. Stalking the shallows produced some daytime fish.

General Comments:

Nice lake in pleasant and peacefull surroundings, all fish where in good condition. Richard the bailiff, top man very helpfull if you need it but leaves you to it if you don't. Would definitely return.

24 fish caught, including 25lb Catfish, biggest carp 3x 26lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Shallower end of the lake, tight to the pads, fishing at range. (Fish easily spooked). Krill dumbbell baits tipped with fake maize. Night fishing the most productive.

General Comments:

Richard is a top bloke, always on hand to provide any tackle, bait and advice. Fishing was tricky for much of the week, largely due to the hot weather and troubled spawning season. Still managed to pull out some good fish and had a great time!

Krill boilies over boilie/particle/pellet. We got through 145 kg of bait during our week.
