Maniere

About the Lake

Measuring in at 5 acres when surveyed, Manière has depths from 1 to 4 metres, with an average of about 2 metres. The bottom is mainly clay with a few areas of gravel and sand. You'll find two islands and most banks are tree and reed lined.

Fishing is fairly straightforward as there are no weed issues, very few snags, no poisson chat and only the odd crayfish which haven't caused issues for anglers.

There are three single and four double swims, although you can fish where you like along the bank too, making this lake perfect for a social.

Nets, landing mats and floatation/weigh sacks are provided free of charge and these must be used. There is also a barrow that can be used for loading and unloading from the car park.

Viper bait boat rental is available on site at €65 per week. Please contact the owners direct regarding this. Their email address & phone number can be found on the 'Info Pack' in your Customer Area once your holiday is booked.
