The Lake of the Giants..., 28th Jul
Paul Cooper and Ron Key were out at the end of May to really see what the water was made of, providing us with a great article along the way...
'Its the last week in May of 2013 and Ron Key and I are off to test yet another new lake for Angling Lines, Vaumigny.
The lake is 37 acres and set in a beautiful country location to the South West of Paris. Totally surrounded by overhanging trees and woodland the lake has a very natural look for a commercial fishery. The lake is shared with Dutch, French and Belgian anglers so there is a multi-national feel to the place...'

Vaumigny Stars in Sturgeon Documentary, 9th Jul
Vaumigny was recently chosen for a documentary on big sturgeon fishing. The lake was one of the forerunners in France for introducing several species of big sturgeon into their closed waters so it's anglers can enjoy the exhilarating sport.

The Catfish of Vaumigny, 8th Jul
Frank estimates that there are at least 20 fair size cats in the lake, one of the larger specimens came out yesterday (8th July) and you can see the impressive photo below!
The beast is 2.1m (nearly 7 foot) long and weighs over 140lbs! It was taken from Swim 1 on a fish-based boilie.
