A Great Week for Swim 11, 9th Jun

Great fishing for swim 11 with some cracking pictures of carp over 20 kg and sturgeon over 25 kg. This is despite part of the week slowing the fishing due to the spawning carp and temperatures fluctuating with rain and sun.

At the Surface, 29th Aug

We recently came across these photos taken at Vaumigny.

The fish stocks in Vaumigny are impressive with the number of carp approaching 400. Since 1997 Frank the owner has stocked only mirrors; all the common carp are native to the lake. The lake record is now an amazing 66lb 8oz with 40lb+ fish being a regular feature in the catch returns. Average weights are high, estimated to be between 28 and 33lb.
