Ben Austin is undertaking an adventure of a lifetime, 12 months travelling Europe in the search of big carp. He's spent the last few days at Vaumigny and caught this beauty...

'Well here she is what a amazing creature 41lb on the nose and she fought like a absolute demon!!

After picking up the smaller fish using nut-trix and particle I decided to cut out the particle and go for the bollie approach and it payed off big time!

The Underrated Venue - A new article on Vaumigny, 11th Dec

'One of the major deciding factors for me personally when choosing a holiday venue is always the feedback and information regarding the lake. I check how the lake tends to fish in the month I’m planning to go as well as checking for any blogs, articles or bits and pieces on the carp forums.

For this blog I’d like to talk about a venue which seems to attract some criticism from anglers, but in my opinion is one of Angling Lines most underrated venues.'

Vaumigny continues to fish well, 10th Jun

Just had these photos sent in from Vaumigny. A dutch angler fishing peg 4 landed carp of 55lb, 50lb & 44lb... plus a further 12 between 33lb & 40lb & 2 around 22lb. Great fishing!
