Details of your catches:

1x 30lb, 20x twenties, 27x doubles - 49 fish in total and lost 12. Biggest was a 30 common ( first fish ) which isn't too bad because we only fished days. Total weight was 944 pound which averages at 19.26, it was far better than I had expected in av weight.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Maize and Halibut pellets, Quest Raja Spice boilies and Quest Special Crab boilies

General Comments:

Hi, to the team at angling lines, can i start my email by thanking you all once again for a fantastic trip, especially Bridget for her advice. It was a long drive to vincons but worth the effort, we found the Bouchet family very helpfull and friendly during the course of the week. It was my first french trip with my boys aged 11, 13 and 16 and also my die hard lovely fiance who always comes on our trips and normally shows me up! we would like to book again next summer, could you please email me with vacancies. We would like to say thank you for a wonderful trip .... smashing loads of pb's. A couple of notes of caution for following anglers: be careful on the left bank from the gite, it is deep there but holds loads of underwater tree snags that cost you fish, it was better to walk the fish along the bank to a clearer spot for netting. Watch the black and white dog "atu" he bites the carp on the bank as you are sorting the weigh sling out! and jumps on the beds, and the brown and white dog pisses all over your gear marking his territory!!! If you wade over to the far bank opposite the gite along the fence by the boar, watch out for a 6 foot grey snake. talk to you all soon Pictures to follow .............. Martin

Lovely relaxing week. Weather was a bit chagable, but the kids enjoyed the pool everyday. Good food. The owner spoke good English. Limited children's menu. Fishing was good. Overall a very good holiday. List of directions for the final bit of the journey need looking at.

General Comments:

I was a little concerned before I went that the Lodge accomodation would not be suitable as I was taking my family. However, I needn't have been as although basic, it was clean, well kept and in very good condition. The Bouchot family were very welcoming and we enjoyed the company of their dog A'Tou for most of the week. Although not a big fish venue the fishing was excellent and quite frantic at times with runs coming steadily throughout the day (we did not fish nights). Thank you Bridget for your help and advice. It was exactly like what you said it was going to be! I would recommend this venue to any family wanting plenty of action whilst enjoying the comforts of lakeside accomodation and a swimming pool.
