We caught 8 carp but were only there for 2 nights. I was ill & had to return home ! Our best was 34b. If we had been there for the week we would probably have had 30 carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We used our usual tactics - bait bad filled up with particle, pellet, ground bait & boilie, fished at about 100m. We used snowman rigs.

Excellent weeks fishing, 33 fish caught 5 fortys a lot of mid thirties.

22 and 24 mm hardened boilies , fished to edge of large baited area of bait , good old fashioned nylon hook links .

Very peaceful lake , plenty of water to fish, condition of carp excellent, frank and mark top lads .

Fishing swim 7, 42 carp caught, 12x30lbs to 39lb, 24x20s and some doubles.

An excellent weeks fishing for the two of us. Had to reel in for 3 nights to get some rest. Good fighting fish in good condition.

18 carp up to 48.1lb. Fished 5 nights.

Better than expected, but toilet and shower area is a long way from the lake..

Swims are all gravel, loads of poison chat and crayfish. Lovely place though quiet an peaceful.
