I think the best tactic on Evaro is patience, don't rush and don't panic if your not catching straight away. Theese are big fish and do like their food so don't be afraid to put some in and sit on it

General Comments:

I would like to say a big thankyou to Mark and Anita for there superb hospitality on arrival. Evaro is definitely not a runs water but it doesn't need to be because the next bite could quite possibly be the fish of a lifetime. If I could only ever fish one water again Evaro would be it

A very hard week with no showing fish, but patience paid off with 4 fish landed and new PB’s. 42lb mirror, 45lb common PB, 51lb mirror PB, 52lb mirror PB

Very wary carp so clear leaders and match the hatch style baiting - pop ups

Yes if you’re after a 50 but be prepared to be very patient and work at it. A very pretty and peaceful location
