No, pretty poor really

No shower was terrible had no water at the beginning of the week then no power once there was water so cold showers only

Definitely, the fish in this place are fantastic so as long as you can be self sufficient and not require facilities then it’s well worth going

Used Angling lines for many years and the service is fairly good, just lacking on more lake information and updates cause if they did there bit better I wouldn’t have been caught out with the facilities *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We have spoken with the owner about the shower issues, and he informed us that unfortunately, the solar battery system had temporarily run out of power. As soon as he was alerted, he made every effort to get the showers back on as quickly as possible, in this case it was the following day. We urge anyone who experiences any issues to contact the owner or us immediately so we can resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

2 Anglers fishing swim 6. 5 fish landed between us up to 28lb and 2 lost. Very challenging week due to weather changes.

Look for spots in the weed and fished snowman over the lake boilies pellet and particle

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were basic, which is what you expect on drive and survive, but I still expect them to work. The shower was stone cold for 90% of time, then heated to scalding hot for about 30 seconds, and the tap in the basin just leaked at the head so couldn't wash your hands. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the issues you experienced. The shower and tap are now fully functioning again. The lake itself is nice with decent swims and the location is very quiet. It is not an easy water by any means, but there are some lovely fish in there and it is good to see so few swims on a lake that size where others the same size will have 3 times as many swims. I would recommend to others.

Yes Angling Lines are always easy to deal with, including a last minute change of vehicle for the ferry which was dealt with.

Very hard week due to the weather so only a couple of mirrors caught, one of them being a stunning 18kg Zip Linear

Very difficult to know but sticking to spots and casting at showing fish

General Comments:

Constant is a great guy, the lake is beautiful and the fish are all stunning. The weather was terrible this week with heavy snow and minus figures everyday and night which made it very hard work. Constant messages everyday to see if we was ok and if we needed anything.

Krill boilies over a bed of house particle. Fished a running rig over a silty area to reduce attention from Cray Fish.

General Comments:

The lake is an undiscovered Gem. It's absolutely perfect with respect to the size of the swims, the amount of water available for so few fishermen and it's lovely and quiet. The fish stocks are perfect with a large variety of fish to keep even the most experienced anglers coming back for more.
