Specimen Lake 'Lake Lauren'
The lake was originally stocked with carp in February 2006. The original stocking consisted of 68 fish, including 22 carp between 30lb and 42lb, plus several grass carp, and koi. Since then a further 44 carp with an average weight of around 20lb have been added, plus the occasional lump from the stock lake. There are also approximately 25 catfish, including 3 weighing between 65lb and an estimated 90lb+.
The current lake record Carp stands at over 52lb.
Stock Lake 'Lake William'
Stock-wise it holds about 500 carp (mostly commons) to just under 20lb, other species include; 25 grassies to 30lb, 5 albino grass carp to around 10lb, 60-80 koi carp-15lb+, silverhead carp, crucian carp, tench, golden tench, roach, red roach, rudd, the odd bream to 11lb and bleak.
There are no poisson-chat or crayfish in either lake.
