Yes. They were being renovated while I was there which was a bit frustrating but now they’re done they look good.

General Comments:

I was there for 12 nights and the temperatures on the first week were up to 17 degrees and the fish responded and the fishing was good. However the temperatures plummeted the second week, which culminated in the lake freezing over for the final 48 hours and the fish went back into winter mode and fishing was difficult. But that’s the chance you take when taking up the winter special offers. 5 carp up to 52lb in February was more than I’d hoped for. Mark the Bailiff is a top bloke.

We had a fantastic week for our first ever time visiting the Jonchery complex. This time opting for Jonchery 8. I would like to start by saying a huge thank you to Mark for all of his help and welcoming upon arrival. Everything about the complex was absolutely spot on and I would highly recommend Jonchery to anyone looking for a french holiday venue! The lake itself was spotless and such a lovely place to spend a weeks fishing! We managed 34 carp through the week up to 54lb 40z including numerous 20's, 30's and 40's! This was topped off with a couple of 30/40lb catfish too. 3x 50's (one recapture) 4x 40's 9x 30's 10x 20's 4 Under 20lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We found that the fish certainly love the bait in there, going through 40kg boilies, 25kg pellet, 20kg particle and 10kg corn through the week. Simple wafter rigs fished to the far margin done 90% of the bites.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were spot on, showers, toilet, fridges and freezer. Everything you could ask for from a holiday venue.

Were you happy with them?

Yes most definitely.

110% would recommend Jonchery to anyone looking for a venue for an up and coming trip. Fish are absolutely immaculate and a lot are certainly not your 'typical French fish'. With some lovely clean commons and scaly mirrors to go at, Jonchery should definitely be on your list!

General Comments:

Have previously fished the main lake at Jonchery and booked to fish Jonchery 7 for the next two years. Mark and Anita are fantastic hosts. The food package is brilliant and well worth the money. Great food and large portions. Marks on hand to give any advice needed and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good trip, would recommend this venue to anyone. Fish are in very good condition which is testament to how the venue is run.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities are basic, but clean and tidy, they are shared with other anglers on the complex. Food was good, but we felt it was way over priced for what you get.

Yes overall happy with everything.

Most definitely, a brilliant company, have used Angling lines for many years. Staff are quick and friendly to get back to you if there's any questions or issues.

General Comments:

A very difficult but rewarding week. The main lake, Jonchery 7 and our lake Jonchery 8 all struggled with low catches, possibly due to high air pressure. We caught 8 carp ranging from 25lb to 50.02lb common which is a PB and also a 91.2lb catfish, a PB and a one hour battle to land it!! which we shall never forget. Jonchery 8 is a beautiful lake, with great views and plenty of widelife, the carp in the lake are stunning and in really good condition. Jonchery 8 is very shallow, watch out for the water levels as it does drop!! Mark topped up the lake, but it did take 10 hours to get back to the correct level. Bait boats are a must, use the site party mix, pellets and plum boilies. Fish to the far tree line to find the gravel spots.
