Maximum No Of Anglers, 16th Jul
We have now reduced the maximum number of anglers from six to five.
After feedback from anglers regarding the far right margin now roped off due to snags, we felt that it was too subjective as to whether swim 3 offered ample room for two anglers to each fish with three rods.
We have a couple of groups with two anglers fish this swim since the 'out of bounds' area was erected with no issues, infact last week Paul and Peter caught 19, Paul on the left side of swim 3 caught 3 fish but the 3 biggest (44.9, 37.1 and 30.5) and Peter on the right hand side caught 16, despite a very hot week in terms of temperature.
However, on balance, we do not wish for anyone to ever feel slightly 'cramped' with six anglers on the lake and so we will limit it to a maximum of five.

Swim 3 , 25th Jun
A customer recently expressed concern that the out of bounds area around the snags on swim 3 would affect the fishing from this swim. Whilst it is true that it is now not possible to fish under part of this margin, we do stress that this is because it was unsafe, with too many break offs due to the snags here. We have attached photos looking out to the fishable areas from swim 3 and believe this still gives more than adequate space for two anglers.
