The best tactics were washing line method on a spinner rig with a flouro wafter.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The accommodation was brilliant, comfortable, spacious and clean. The added bonus of wifi and sky TV was beyond expectations and the facilities were fantastic.

Were you happy with them?

We were very happy with the space and felt like a home away from home. The only thing I would reiterate to those booking is a lack of toilets in the upstairs which may affect some people staying.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely if you like to be in a quiet and remote location where you can totally relax and unwind. We had horrible weather for our week stay but we were so comfortable in the accommodation which made it bearable.

A wonderful and comfortable stay and the owner was super helpful with questions and concerns we had while we were there! Great communication throughout! The facilities were fantastic and had everything you needed for a cozy stay! And great fishing also!

Didn't fish every day but managed 5 really nice carp up to 43lb. Used stiff rigs due to the crayfish but they weren't a real problem, probably due to the time of year.

Plastic corn and tiger nut hook baits over particles and pellets.

The gite was lovely, clean and well equipped, the local area was beautiful. Had 5 really nice carp to 43lb.

Five takes 1 fish landed, weather was up and down all week, but still managed to catch one beautiful little koi

I had 12 bites, landed 10 to 31lb. 23lb, 18lb, 18lb, 19lb, 3 stockies, 27lb, 28lb, 31lb.

Start of the week my hook baits were getting stolen by crays so used tigernuts on a slip D combi rig over boilie and crushed tigers.
