General Comments:

We would love to go back again and have another go at the carp. The lake and facilities are absolutely spot on.

2 carp (1x18lb, 1x 22lb), 4 poison chat, 6 bream 2lb+. lots small bass and roach.

Tried everything, maize worked the best. fish caught around the margin with few freebies.

General Comments:

The house and location is great, The hosts giles and leslie are extremely helpful. The fishing is extremely difficult - we fished day and night for 6 days and caught 2 carp the day before we left. The weather was mixed thunder and showers with sunshine towards the end of the week. Giles is extremely helpful and tries to point you in the direction of the fish, he even fished with us for six hours one night but we still had no luck! its a beautiful location and lovely facilities just a shame the carp were not feeding!

8 big fish caught and 1 lost. 6 mirrors between 21 and 46lbs. 1 x common 16lbs. 1 x leather 27lbs

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing by the margins to the right side of the lake as both 30's came from there. From the edge of the lilies (get really tight) and the big one came from under the 3rd willow to the right! I recommend light accurate baiting (use the boats), tiger nuts, maize and fruity boilies.

General Comments:

The weather was all over the place, we had a couple of huge thunder storms and a couple of cloudy days but the evenings were warm and sunny. Don't give up during the day.... I had my biggest fish at 1.30 pm. The fishing is challenging but we managed to haul in some 'crackers'.

Our second visit. We took the wives so went out most days & fished at night, but we did find the fishing slow.
