Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Find your spots and stick to em, some fished on gravel other in silt. To be honest some caught on plastic corn, i caught on snowman Pacific tuna with a 10mm pop up. Change colour if it slows down. We all used hemp and corn to great effect.

Been 4 times always good for what we need. Frank the baliff is a star!!

Definitely, its a great venue for the slightly more experienced angler due to snags and size of fish. Extremely hard fighting!! Quality venue.

Have done, been 4 times and recommended to everyone i speak to!!

General Comments:

Angling lines did everything to help us again. Used numerous times now, never had an issue.

Once the carps got on the bait by the Tuesday it was incredible !!! 27 runs, 18 carp, 4 over 40lb and the biggest 55lb. Had 4 catfish too.

Used over 60k of mainline baits link boilie with new smart liquid attractors!

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities with frank shower etc as expected it was really clean and water hot etc no issues there. No table or chairs for a group social but I did find an old one in the bushes ha ha which to be fair I had frank scrubbing it! He was a really nice man. Freezer space isn’t great I couldn’t get a whole 10 kilo bag in it. Fridge was ok thou. Plenty of English charging points.

Facilities are basic but adequate and very very clean!

I’ve been with Angling lines only a couple of times one being old oaks. The feedback from the organiser re you guys has always been good, made easy...

General Comments:

I’ve just returned from fishing 6 nights at Etang de Vaumigny booked through Angling Lines. With the weather at over 100 degrees it was very hard work to deal with the intense heat ... I took peg 14, this place is totally different to the holiday fishing i've done in over 10 years of fishing in France. Lots of snags, bars, boulders and of course catfish & sturgeon to deal with. Frank the owner is a superstar, his hospitality is 2nd to none. Real good time we had, will go back In 2 years.

After a hard week of fishing group of 2 had 12 fish between us. I had 7 fish - 5 cats, 2 carp. Biggest cat 16lb, carp 26.13oz and another 19.6lb. My mate had 5 cats biggest was 15lb

Worked best for me was all on bottom, single 20mm bollie with a spread of bollies over top

Yes would of been better if had more showers and if shower and toilet was separate

General Comments:

I was on peg one didnt have anything out of the day and was going slow so moved. The move paid off as had some of night and day, see if you can get moved if possible dont stay in same peg if not producing. Advice to anyone going take a bait boat with fish finder to target the fish as was what the locals was doing fishing to a far distance and catching the big ones.
