General Comments:
As previously said by others, this lake has more trailing leads, snags in the swims and all over the lake, more then i have seen on any other lake ever. The lake lacks management badly to the point of serious fish kills. Swims are a fair size but again in need of serious attention, tree branches falling on bivvies to serious ant infestations (take ant powder !!!) €80.00 per row boat, broken oars and to be fair a piss take as most of the time the boats were being used to try and free his tethered or snagged fish so as they don't die. *Owner's note* For snags, swims 1, 7, 8 and 15/16 have shore posts out in the water. These cause problems when anglers fish close to obstacles or within 20 meters of shore. We also find this when anglers fish too close to the island, with the distance there is too much elasticity on the line. Franck is always very happy to explain about any obstacles around the lake and how best to avoid these from any of the swims. Every year we take a grapple round the lake to remove any lines and big branches. In terms of danger for the carp with snags, we insist on barbless fishing and therefore the hook is ejected easily. We have never lost a carp to tethering to our knowledge. Regarding the boats, it is not the oars that break (never had breakage) but the oar locks, which break for safety if they have too much force on it. We ask anglers to let us know if there is a breakage and we will replace it.

Details of your catches:
Between the two of us we caught 11 carp, 17 Catfish, 1 bream. Biggest Carp 43lb mirror, Biggest Catfish 35lb
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Used Mainline Hybird. Caught fish over a bed of bait and also small amounts dropped by the boat. Margins work well but there are snags.

General Comments:
If it hadn't been so very warm and sunny at the start of the week I think we would have caught more.

General Comments:
Poor lake management. Lazy owner leaving snags in water which is damaging hooked fish. Too many over hanging trees on pegs. Could be a great venue if it had a proper owner. *Angling Lines note* We will discuss the snags with the owner as to where they are a potential danger to the fish. Although we do stress that this is definitely a lake that is left quite wild and natural so will not suit everyone.

Details of your catches:
8 carp to 43lb. Cats to 20lb & Sturgeon to 125lb.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Beds of boilie for carp or pellet/groundbait/particle for cats/sturgeon. 20kg+ boilie per anger per week minimum. Finding gravel spots is some swims essential, in most others, fishing to the silt is perfectly good. The fish follow the wind, so multiple moves between swims may be in order too.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes - been several times prior, so knew what to expect.
