The weather was against us, strong NE winds plus cold temps did not help. However we managed 3 fish in total. 2 from the main lake, and 1 from the top lake. Largest was 19.5lb Common and a 16lb Mirror.

Basic bottom baits either single, or Snowman rigs. Boillie rigs.

The Gite was lovely, Lee and Tracey were fantastic hosts and the food package amazing.

General Comments:

The conditions were tough but all had an enjoyable time. Patience paid off with 3 good fish on the final day. This is our second visit and I am sure it will not be the last. Note from lake owner. This is one of the hardest starts to a season we have seen since opening in 2006. The lake water was an estimated 4-5 degrees when the anglers arrived before it snowed all day the following Monday. The lads stuck at it and managed to winkle out a few good fish on the last day. Well done to both of you, you're certainly braver than me! :)
