Pb catfish 43lb 7ozs. Ladies lake record. Caught on garlic boilie. 6 fish in total including 31lb carp. Ted got pb grass carp at 17lb 15oz. He got 8 fish.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish all over lake. Open water and banks, shallow and deep water. Baits used were fish\meat by ted and cell and garlic by me. We baited certain areas in small clumps constantly. We had a massive lightning\thunderstorm all sunday night, rain, cold wind, sun so made for a challenge.

2nd visit. Yes they are first class.

General Comments:

Family atmoshere in glorious surroundings.lee and tracie are friendly helpful hosts who make the venue realy welcoming.the food package is unbeatable...fresh tasty plentiful. Deserts are just wonderful after a hard days fishing. Lee is instantly on hand with any advice and delivers pellets etc to your swim asap. Will return without doubt, weather was a major factor this time. Would definitely recommend as first choice for anyone to visit.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Shallows fished well. Open water catches as well as bank. Squid hook/ fish base. Garlic Hook and base. Maize helped. Hardening hook bait helped avoid small fish nibbling.

Better spending a stormy morning in the floating cabin.

General Comments:

Beautiful setting, friendly helpful hosts. Lee and Tracy gave constant advice. Felt very welcomed in lovely family orientated venue. 2nd visit, 3rd is now being planned. Food is divine, having visited before we knew to expect large meals. True to form, great menu and going home heavier. Had lovely day fishing on Lake William with Sam. Nice to see youngsters so enthusiastic to fish. Even the animals were friendly. Would recommend anybody visit this venue. Weather was really unsettled. No 24 hour period gave same water / weather conditions. Lightening / thunder storm was influence. But just makes everything more of a challenge. Feel better when you beat it!! Came wanting to catch a big Catfish - got it - over the moon! Going home very happy.

General Comments:

A very good weeks fishing, 48 fish in total weighing over 900lb! Food package was excellent, delicious and plenty of it. Well recommended.

We had a great week fishing total carp 28 and 3 cat fish. best carp 39lbs, 5 carp over 30lbs inc the 39 lbs cat to 25lbs

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Do not stay in 1 swim too long keep moving back and forth between several baited areas. If you want to land 1 of the big catfish take strong gear, I would also recommend taking extra terminal tackle and the cats wanted to play!

We had every that we could need a pleasant change to have a nice sitting room to relax in after a long day bank side
