Fished main lake to aereator in the first 24 hrs had had 7 x 20's. Weather fantastic. No one else on so fished Lotus pagued by bream and small gras carp but managed a 42lber and a few 20's. biggest on main lake was a 32lb. I was in Lotus cottage ground floor only.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I was using the quest Rahja and dynamite savoury spice. Definitely most fish at night but still had some during the day and the forty came in the afternon. I would recommend just boilies really as particle brought nuisance fish. I used around 14 kilo for the week. Once caught just on a single hook bait!

really enjoyed it, really good week. Fantastic really nice lake.

Despite hearing about the people before us catching non stop we found the fishing difficult to start with but it got much better towards the end of the week.A fantastic week was had with 32 fish caught topped off by a superb 46Lb 4oz beauty.

Wonderfull setting.Brilliant week was had by all.

29 fish in total. Largest mirror carp 37lb 12oz + largest common carp 29lb 12oz. My son had a personal best of 24½lb mirror & my daughter's personal best was a 23½lb mirror.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Hinders Krill n Crab 18mm bottom baits. Found that stringers of 3 or 4 boilies produced most of the bigger fish.

General Comments:

Lovely cottage & surroundings. Setting really beautiful & peaceful. We drove down with all our fishing gear - rather a long way down & tiring so next time would probably fly & hire the gear there.

Details of your catches:

Fished the main lake and caught well. We had a 47lb and a 44lb and a 43.08, thirties and twenties. Had a pb within an hour of pulling the car up! so were off to a great start..
