Details of your catches:
I had 48 fish in total, 11 grass carp to 18.5 lb, 19 mirror carp to 33lb, 8 common carp to 28.5 lb, 9 bream and a lovely 4lb tench. Dad had 12 fish in total to 29.5 lb including a beautiful koi carp to 8 lb.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Most of my fish came from fishing to the fountain (but not too tight or you'll get snagged) and casting into the shallows with single hookbaits and a small pva bag containing two crushed boilies. I used relativity short hooklinks to what Gilles recommends, about 6-9 inches in length. During the day I used washed out boilies which in my opinion really worked for me. The boilies I used were Rahja spice,I used pellets for the main feed.
Were the facilities what you expected?
yes,we had visited in 2009
Were you happy with them?

General Comments:
Weather was poor for the first 4 days, compared to our last visit, but this didn't really spoil our holiday. We flew into Bergerac and hired a car. The journey from the airport took over an hour but was straight forward. The tackle that we hired was good stuff (fox and nash mainly) and had a range of different test curve rods to suit you and your style of fishing.

Main lake I had 40 carp to 47.08lb. We weren't fishing hard either. i had a fair number of 30's 8 or 9 . 3 x 40's one was a scaper but it did make it.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Snowmen across the red and green bush , one to the right of the aereator and oner to the left of it. Boilies only. I used 30 kilos for the week. I had action day and night and some nights didn't fish but the 47 came during ther day. I fished 3 nights and 3 days seperated out.
