100lb+ TRIO!!!, 4th May

Last week I was fortunate enough to witness THREE CARP ON THE BANK AT THE SAME TIME TOTALING OVER 100LB. Two were landed by Charlie Fisher and another by his his cousin. The catches included a 41+ common, a 31+ Mirror and another 29lb Common. Incredibly, while we were taking this photo Charlies third rod tore off causing a moment of absolute chaos before the fish unhooked itself halfway across the lake. PHEW!!!

Unhooking Mats, 25th Mar

For the 2017 season we will be providing up to five unhooking mats free of charge. This should help you to save valuable space in your vehicle and hopefully be a bit less whiffy in there on the way home!

Lake William Fishing with Sam., 12th Aug

Last week Tracy and I took our son Sam (9) fishing on our coarse lake Lake William. We managed to get a few cracking photos which show how much fun smaller Carp can be when fishing with children. It was also a great opportunity to teach some fishing techniques from basic to fairly advanced. In his 2x 6 hour hour sessions he tried float, feeder and Carp fishing and all worked well, he banked 12 fish including Mirror and Common Carp to 8lb 8oz and also Koi Carp, Tench and Roach. Another 6 hour session probably would have seen a lot more fish on the bank as we had started to concentrate the fish where we needed them and Sam was improving his techniques no end.

We particularly enjoyed it every time he hooked into a fish over six or seven pounds, he couldn’t believe how strong they were!!!

He absolutely loved every minute of it, but is now pestering us constantly to go again! :)
