Details of your catches: 23 fish caught in one week. Biggest 33lb12oz and only 3 under 20lb. Record brace caught of 64lb to top off a brilliant week. Only three nights fishing as did well during day. Five commons, the rest mirrors.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Fed home-made trigga ice boilies and tiger nuts fished from b-b-q corner down tree line.

Were the facilities what you expected? Better than expected. Very homely.
Were you happy with them? Excellent facilities, and shower & heating superb. Five stars all the way!

General comments: Excellent accommodation, food and well looked after by tracy & lee. Don’t know what i expected from the food package, but if you’re on a diet you won’t be for long. Giant portions and superb food all served hot. Not to be missed. If coming to france for the 1st time, have no fear to start here. Even the weather was kind to us and had a beautiful sunny but cool october week.

Details of your catches: 21lb mirror, 33lb mirror, 22lb mirror, 9lb common, 28lb mirror, 33lb mirror, 49.4lb cat fish,+ other small carp

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Fish mainly coming out at night. Fishing tight to the far gorse bank, and bottom right hand corner. Fished t1, c1 + m1 bait, cat fell to split c1 on far right bank.

Were the facilities what you expected? Very, very good
Were you happy with them? Yes, the use of the house helps make the trip.

General comments: We fish france every year and were due to fish molyneux this year, but due to a weed problem on their lake we were offered to fish la gléhias; this turned out to be our best year yet! The lake is quite beautiful, especially early in the morning. The fish came out at night which was a shame as the fish are in great condition, would be nice to see them in day light. We didn’t have the food package, although when we arrived on saturday night, we were shattered and tracy kindly cooked us a meal which was very nice and most appreciated. Many thanks to lee + tracy + kids

General comments: Lee and tracy brilliant hosts again! Very hard fishing due to weather. Can’t wait to come back again next year to look after our ‘piggy’!!!

General comments: Great venue, a lovely place to be, hospitality out of this world. Good info given by lee and very willing to help out when required. Food package a must, food was amazing and was a lot better than expected (top cook, excellent quality and superb service)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Individual baits steamies. Stc and mx3 steamies around the margins. Small amounts of pre-baiting every 24 hours. Keep your hook close to the boilie.

General comments: Excellent venue. Exceptional hosts. Tracy & lee were always happy to offer advice and help in any way possible. They made us feel very welcome. Their children are delightful and made our younger children feel at home! We were nervous about taking a small baby with us, especially to a fishing venue, but found tracy & lee most welcoming. We will definitely be back!
