Overview
Emeraude Carp is a 15 acre gravel pit located in North West France, which we'd describe as a highly rewarding and exciting French carp lake for anglers with experience. The lake is packed with features, big variations in depth and wild overhanging margins.
There are around 350 carp to over 72lb and the fish gallery speaks for itself - this is a good lake if you're looking for the chance of a very big carp in France.
Whilst the lake retains a very natural feel, the layout is excellent and allows plenty of space for each angler. Baitboats are welcome & a rowing boat is supplied on every swim free of charge, making easier work of finding precise spots amongst weed or the overhanging margins.
You can book this lake individually or exclusively for your group for the week (maximum 10 anglers). If booking non exclusively, you prebook your swims when you book online. There are 4 double swims, but one swim (swim 4) can also be booked as a single swim if required. See the lake map for more information.
For lake exclusive bookings, there is a further 5th double swim which can be utilised if taking a large group of 9 or 10 (although, on this lake we recommend up to a maximum of 8 anglers as this gives more room and an option to move around).
Emeraude Carp is very close to the ports of St Malo (1hr 15) and Caen (2hr 40), so it is an easy destination for those that want to take the Friday overnight crossings using these ports, arriving refreshed to the lake on the Saturday with only a short drive. From Calais it is a 6hr drive.

The swims offerthe chance to fish both the margins and open water, which allows you to adapt your fishing based on the weather and your own preferences. Highly recommended location, excellent stock! The on-site bailiff is attentive to customers, takes time with them, and has a good sense of humour! The manager's father is super friendly!"
