Overview
Eau De Vie South offers exclusive carp fishing in France with a unique railway cabin. This is a beautiful, spring-fed 2-acre lake in in the Pays de la Loire region, lovingly restored by owners Gary and Angeline. It's a genuinely intimate and secluded setting, hired privately for a maximum of 3 anglers, with carp to over 51lb.
What makes this lake truly unique is the lakeside accommodation and excellent layout - a refurbished railway cabin, sleeping up to four across two twin bedrooms, with a double swim directly outside and stunning views across the water. If you'd rather fish together and bivvy up, the large peninsula swim offers the perfect base for a social session instead.
With over 100 excellent reviews, Eau De Vie South has built a strong reputation - guests regularly land personal bests here (several reviews mention new PBs on the same trip), and the food packages are consistently praised as some of the best on offer.
The venue is a short 1hr 45 drive from the nearest port of St Malo. Alternatively, this venue is a great option for anglers who'd rather fly, Rennes and Nantes airports are both approximately an hour away. By taking advantage of the optional food packages, bait and tackle hire available on site, it can be an easy all-inclusive holiday.

Fishing was challenging at times, but hard work paid off in the end with landing the biggest fish in the lake on our last evening. Both of us left with a new PB! After two years of blood, sweat and tears, Eau De Vie South opened and a further 2 years later Eau de Vie North was ready.
