General comments: Our second time at this venue and will definitely come again. A warm welcome from chris & steph and animals. Accommodation is ideal with lovely views, plenty of space a log fire and most importantly a big oven. The fishing was very good with all fish putting up a good fight, the fish are in great condition and the surrounding areas are so beautiful and tranquil as a whole. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and bring on next year. Tight lines

General comments: Many thanks for recording the rugby and for setting it up for the 1/4 final! (shame about the result). Fishing was more difficult this year with the fish congregating under the trees on the far bank and not moving much.

Details of your catches: Didn't fish every day, had a few doubles all mirrors good looking fish. One caught off the surface, got more bites from the crayfish unfortunately, the weather was hot and the fish seemed to be layed up in the snags

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: No particular bait outperformed the others, bottom baits and pop ups were used

General comments: This venue is a great base from which to tour around from as there are so many old historical towns and family orientated places to visit. Chris and steph make you feel very welcome, as do all the animals here, our two young sons loved feeding the animals. The pool was a very welcome addition when we needed to cool down from the heat of the sun.
All in all a great place to stay. We had a lovely holiday. We would love to come back and next time fish for longer

Details of your catches: 18 fish total. Best 36lbs 4oz. Catch included 2 thirties 9 twenties 6 mid doubles. Lots of lost fish in snags. All fish come from far bank tight to trees. Most fish come from shallow end of lake

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Lots of hemp/maize. Fished with large flavoured maize topped with plastic corn pop -up. Active 8. Most fish caught on maize

General comments: Had a great week. Pb at 36lb 4oz. They do like lots of hemp/maize.
35kg's fish to 2 anglers.
Best way to keep out of snags was tight clutch and hold line as low as possible.
Family had a great time. Would recommend, without doubt an angler or anglers with family facilities lake. Swimming pool v convenient. Very social venue. This is the second time at venue and i would definitely book next year again. Children loved the pool, animals etc. Chris & steph on hand & very helpful as usual. Make you feel very relaxed.

Details of your catches: Didn't fish every day, fished two nights total catch 1,368 lbs smallest 12lbs largest 39.11.... 10-20 x 18... 20-30 x 34... 30-40 x 8

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Margins proved to pull in some big fish. Tight to the tree line also worked well. Night fishing was done for two nights only producing fish to 38lbs+

General comments: We as a group of two anglers with wifes and a son were made up with the venue. The girls loved the quiet tranquil surroundings, the youngster loved the pool and playing with ruadhri; chris and stephs youngster.
The animals were also great to see including the four resident guinea pigs living just outside the door of the gite.
You would have to come to experience the pleasure and beauty of these tranquil surroundings.
Would we come again? Absolutely!!
