Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish tight to far margins or features. We used 20mm Cell over a large bed of bait, Plenty of bait to get them going. Rest your swim every now and then and they will move back on the bait. We fished days only from sunrise till dusk, too knackered to do a night.

I would recommend Mas Bas but I won't because it would mean that more people would find this fantastic lake. Gilles and Sharon were great and very helpful.

We've caught 900 kg of excellent fighting and healthy Carp (87 fish in total). 55 Mirror Carp (largest 41 lb 4 oz, 40 lb 13 oz and 39 lb 11 oz) 20 Common Carp (largest 35 lb 1 oz, 25 lb 13 oz and 25 lb 6 oz) 9 Grass Carp (largest 16 lb 12 oz) and 3 nice Koi Carp.

Listen carefully to Gilles tips & tricks and you'll catch a lot of fish, we didn't even fish during the night!

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, they are very good and comfortable. This was the 2nd time we visited Mas Bas and we'll be back, for sure!

General Comments:

Especially suitable for (large) families who like to socialize (up to 3 well equipped cottages, 2 swimming pools and 2 Carp lakes, very close to each other) and fish at the same time at a very nice and relaxing venue. 8 to 10 inch long KD IQ rigs with 4 micro barb korda curve shank and wide gape. 20mm and 15mm Raja Spice boilies. Slack line fishing voles to features on far bank and near bank plus open water near aerator.
