World famous for its monster catfish and hard fighting common carp, Spain 's River Ebro is the ideal destination if you're looking for a true adventure and the chance of hooking into a monster. We truly believe this is probably the best freshwater fishing in the World at the moment and the customers who took this trip in 2007 would no doubt agree - every one of them had at least one 100lb+ catfish!
Take a look at the catch reports and you'll see just how stunning the fishing was.
The trip includes 6 days guided fishing on the Ebro , including accommodation, some of which is within a stones throw of the river. We'll supply all your tackle, but of course if you prefer you can bring your own.
Martyn will get you settled in and then guide and fish with you on the most productive swims, based on the latest information on where the fishing is best. They will be with you throughout the whole duration of the trip to answer questions and help wherever they can, showing you the best methods and techniques to land that fish of your dreams.
Due to the local laws fishing is by day only - but this is not a problem as the cats feed well during the day. You are allowed to fish until midnight for the cats and 1 hour into darkness for the hard fighting carp. You'll be fishing from the bank or boat, whichever method is going to give you the best results.

NEW for 2008!
Winter Carp Fishing - For many years now the Ebro has been producing massive common carp, usually to cat anglers, but
because of its reputation for catfish the carp fishing has not made the headlines. During the winter months the carp tend
to shoal up in relatively small areas and if you get on them you can have a real bonanza! The current Ebro record
is over 60lbs, and 30’s and 40’s are caught
regularly... so they are well worth going for. We’ll
be fishing several areas from Caspe top lake to
Sastgo where the river is relatively untouched by
anglers.
For both carp & cats there are 2 package
options, the ‘All Inclusive’ trip
which provides you with your
meals and 5kg of Quest
boilies, pop-ups & bait soak… or the ‘Bed & Breakfast’ trip
which leaves you to buy your
own bait (available on-site), lunches
and evening meal.
So if you fancy pitting yourself against
some of the World’s largest freshwater
catfish... or want to beat the UK winter blues and have a go
for the carp... why not come to the magical River Ebro.
