Overview
Deux Iles is a 7-acre carp fishing lake in Normandy and one of the best destinations for anglers looking for carp fishing in France close to Calais. Less than three hours from the channel tunnel or ferry port, it combines easy access with carp to over 57lb, comfortable lakeside cabins and peaceful exclusive-style fishing.
The lake holds an excellent head of around 295 carp to over 57lb, built up through a careful stocking programme since the 1960s, you can expect genuinely excellent quality carp fishing in France, action across a wide range of sizes, and a realistic shot at one of the lake's 40lb+ and 50lb+ fish.
The lake is split into two distinctly separate sections in the form of two islands, each well spaced from the other and with a cabin, giving two anglers on each island plenty of room. You can either hire an island and cabin for up to two anglers, or take the lake exclusive for up to 4 anglers (5 at a push), with both cabins included.
It's also an excellent choice if you're bringing a non-fishing partner along and want a little more comfort than a bivvy provides.
With more than 170 excellent reviews, Deux Iles has become one of the highest-rated carp fishing venues in northern France. Anglers consistently praise the catch rates, comfortable cabins and Bruno's attentive but unobtrusive hosting.
The lake is very rural, with no sounds of traffic or disturbance, and it's just a 1hr drive from Paris should you wish to visit. Located in northern France, Deux Iles is an easy drive from the main channel crossings - approximately 2 hours 45 minutes from Calais and just 1 hour 30 minutes from Le Havre. That makes it an excellent choice for anglers looking to maximise fishing time while keeping travel to a minimum.

"A wonderful place with a top host. The cabins are excellent and really make travel easier without bed chairs and bivvies. Having your own section of lake is a real benefit and is like a lake exclusive. Bruno balances the interaction with you exceptionally well, if you have not been before he will support you, if you have been before and are happy with the known spots or tactics he will leave you in peace."

"37 carp between us to high 40's. Had a fantastic week, the facilities were fantastic. Bruno was a great guy, nothing too nothing too much trouble for him, goes out of his way in everything for you. Can't recommend his lakes enough."

"23 fish caught with a new pb for me at 44lb 2oz mirror. Very clean and great cabins close to the lake so fishing from the cabin is great. Showers and toilet great, better than described with washing up kitchen area with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge freezer, electric in cabins making it easy for charging accessories. Bruno has a little gem in this lake, very well kept with beautiful fish along with the supply of good quality bait."

"I’m Bruno Simond, and I run Deux Iles. I speak good English and am always happy to help or give advice if you need it. After completing studies in Water Management, I gained experience working with respected fish farmers in the UK and USA. Since returning to France, I’ve worked on developing our family-owned lake into a welcoming paradise for carp anglers."
