Overview
Autels is a mature 4 acre lake in the Loire Valley, ideal for groups of up to 5 anglers to book exclusively. This is the perfect lake for those wanting a social holiday with action-packed fishing or for those looking to combine carp and catfish fishing in France.
There's a large head of fish here - around 300 carp to 50lb and catfish to over 100lb, so you are unlikely to be short of action. Triangular in shape, the swims (many of them large doubles) offer plenty of options and room to move around as you wish.
Owned by the Vasseur family, who we have worked with for many years on the very popular Blue Lake and Lepinet, Autels is managed expertly to provide excellent carp and catfish fishing in France.
The lake is a short 2hr20 drive from the port of Caen and 4hr from Calais.

"I would definitely recommend it, beautiful peaceful little lake with some amazing fish, I'll be back. Cats to 60lb Carp to 38lb Over 20 fish in total. Facilities all clean and tidy."

"Had a great holiday and as a social the place is excellent. Fishing was good - both myself and my mate are quite new to carp fishing so would say we did well. We had 38 fish out during the week between 2 anglers. Most fish being mid 20, eight were over 30lb and a 43lb being the biggest carp. 1 grass carp and 2 cats amongst the total, with the biggest cat being 47lb."

I would recommend you take heli systems as the silt is quite deep and strong tackle the cats don't mess around - you just can't stop them. The bailiff was great!"

"We are brothers Sébastien and Cyril, and together we manage Autels along with three other Angling Lines venues, supported by a small, dedicated team. Alongside running the lakes, our family also operate a separate successful fish farming business in the area, continuing a tradition passed down from our parents and grandparents."
