Overview
Boux has been a legendary destination since the 90's for carp fishing in France in a stunning setting, producing many big carp for famous anglers such as Tim Paisley. That tradition continues and Boux still produces consistently high weights with 40lb+ and 50lb+ carp out almost every week.
The lake is around 14 acres and is let on an exclusive basis for a maximum of 5 anglers, ensuring plenty of water for all. Two open banks offer plenty of options to fish together, making it ideal for a social if you wish.
Situated on the eastern edge of the stunning Morvan Regional Nature Park, the lake sits in a quiet valley with rolling fields to one side and woodland surrounding the rest. This is one of the most authentic big-carp venues in France, where the focus is on quality fishing and an immersive natural experience - yet with all the essential facilities nearby.

"Absolutely recommend. Boux is a great venue. Honestly described, with the stock a nice mix of healthy, hard fighting commons and mirrors. Philippe is friendly and helpful, on hand at the farm if you need anything but otherwise you're left alone and it really feels like the lake is your own for the week to angle as you wish. It's hard to beat it's combination of setting, stock and amount of water to fish."

It is a peaceful and relaxing place that first captured my imagination when I had the chance to fish here in 2005, having heard of its reputation. It gives me great pleasure to see angler's reactions to arriving at the banks of the lake for the first time."
