Overview
Boux is a legendary 14-acre carp lake in France, exclusively hired for up to 5 anglers, with carp to over 64lb and a reputation stretching back to the 1990s. It's produced fish for famous anglers including Tim Paisley, and backed by over 150 excellent reviews, it remains one of our most respected venues - this is one of our exclusive carp lakes in France, where the whole water is yours for the week.
Boux still produces consistently high weights today, with 40lb+ and 50lb+ carp out almost every week. Two open banks offer plenty of options to fish together, making it ideal for a social if you wish, whilst still having plenty of water per angler.
Situated on the eastern edge of the stunning Morvan Regional Nature Park, the lake sits in a quiet valley with rolling fields to one side and woodland surrounding the rest. It's around 5.5 hours from the ports, but well worth it for one of the most authentic big-carp venues in France - where the focus is on quality fishing and an immersive natural experience, yet with all the essential facilities nearby.

"Absolutely recommend. Boux is a great venue. Honestly described, with the stock a nice mix of healthy, hard fighting commons and mirrors. Philippe is friendly and helpful, on hand at the farm if you need anything but otherwise you're left alone and it really feels like the lake is your own for the week to angle as you wish. It's hard to beat it's combination of setting, stock and amount of water to fish."

It is a peaceful and relaxing place that first captured my imagination when I had the chance to fish here in 2005, having heard of its reputation.
