Overview

Cailleaux is somewhere you can relax for a week in the knowledge that the fishing should produce well and offer you plenty of action. There are huge numbers of carp to over 59lb and catfish to over 160lb. You can usually expect to catch plenty of both!

Owned by the Vasseur family, who we have worked with for many years on the very popular Blue Lake and Lepinet carp lakes in France, Cailleaux is managed expertly to provide excellent, fuss-free fishing holidays.

The five acre lake is booked for a maximum of five anglers on non-exclusive weeks but can be booked for groups of up to 7 anglers exclusively. The five double swims are along one bank, providing a sociable layout.

The lake is a short 2hr 30 drive from the port of Caen and 4hr from Calais.

"26 in total : biggest carp 43.10, biggest grass 28, biggest cat 89. We loved it here! The banks are perfect for a social, there are firepits and more importantly lots of big carp and cats. Every person had PBs, which is exactly what we went for. Money well spent and memories made."

"We are brothers Sébastien and Cyril, and together we manage Cailleaux along with three other Angling Lines venues, supported by a small, dedicated team. Alongside running the lakes, our family also operate a separate successful fish farming business in the area, continuing a tradition passed down from our parents and grandparents."
