ROSEAU IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT FOR 2010

Click here to watch a video on this venue.

We’ve represented Roseau for 8 years and every year the fishing just gets better & better! 2010 sees an exciting new development for Roseau – the chance to take a fully inclusive trip here with the well respected Clearview Carp Tours. But if you prefer to drive yourself that’s no problem either as there’s plenty of Drive & Survive spaces available too.

Click here to learn more about Clearview Carp Tours.

Roseau is quite simply a cracking lake complex with a great social atmosphere.

Here's some examples to show you what we mean by an action water;

“We had around 120 carp in total & we didn't fish through the night. Biggest 36lb mirror, including 20 x 30lbs+. Biggest common 27.06, biggest sturgeon 32.08. Normally though we would have had more than this – we had 3 tonnes out last year.”
Tom Luke & Ron Ellis

“50 fish in all. Best mirror 34.08, best common 26.00. FOOD WAS BRILL!!! All had a great time. Lots of twenties. Must thank Aline for the food.”
Darren and Stephen Leigh

“4 x 38lb, 6 x 30lb, 16 x 20lb, plus 10 more over 15lb. A great trip, I will be booking next year.”
Mr Taylor

“Around 40 fish, vast majority mid/high 20's... up to best fish of 35lb. Plus Sturgeon of 33lb. A great venue, can't fault it! Booked to go back next year & take a party of 7 with me - says it all. Manic action, great fishing & the owner was really helpful.”
Alan Dobson

And this feedback is by no means exceptional – just take a few minutes to look through the feedback pages (which go back to 2001) and you’ll see why Roseau is such a popular venue.

There are two lakes of 12 and 2 acres. Both have grassy banks which are ideal for setting up bivvies but the land surrounding Roseau is reclaimed marsh land and this means that during periods of heavy rain, particularly early season, it can get very muddy. Please go prepared. The swims are not accessible by car.

There are 3 sets of clean toilets and showers and a bar / restaurant on-site which serves excellent meals. There is also very good STOC supermarket about 2 miles away if you plan to cook for yourself.

Fully Inclusive Trip.

Why not treat yourself to one of Clearviews fully inclusive trips – pure carp fishing luxury with all the hassle taken away.

Here’s how Clearview boss, Roy Fulton, describes the trips;

"The meeting point is at the Relyon car parks in Dover. Relyon has organised an account for us so you get discounted parking. Once all the cars are parked and tackle loaded, it’s off to Dover for the ferry. Onboard the ferry there will be plenty of time to look around, have a meal and take a look in the shops.

The ferry journey takes around 1½ hours and once in France it takes about 2½ hours to drive to the lakes... so it’s time to have a nap or just take in the scenery.

At Roseau we’ll be met by the bailiff and you can have a quick look around the lake. When you come back it’s time for a cuppa and the draw for swims. If there are anglers who want to fish together in a double swim that’s not a problem.

All swims produce fish... so don’t get worried that you’re not going to catch! If for some reason you’re not catching we’ll try to move you into another swim. We’ll always do our best to help you catch. We like to treat everyone on a personal basis so if there is anything you’re not happy with please tell us.

If you’ve pre-ordered bait that will be handed out and off you go to get set up. New for this year is a quad bike and trailer... so no need to hump heavy tackle!

Breakfast and evening meals are included – you can take them back to your swim or you can eat them in the restaurant, whichever you prefer. Click here to see the example menu.

Free hot water for tea and coffee is always available... when you fancy a cuppa just go to the restaurant and there will always be hot water. There is a lunch and dessert menu, so if you fancy a snack, or just a Mars Bar, they’re always available to buy.

After a hectic week’s fishing the day to go home is the worst thing in the world. You have to pack up your tackle and say goodbye to the fishery and friends you have met along the way. I hope you will have enjoyed the week with Clearview at Roseau and it will have given you a taste of French fishing at its best. Once back at Dover it’s time to say goodbye. Hopefully your trip will have given you good memories and hopefully we’ll see you again!"

A complete food package (breakfast & evening meal) is available for £110 per person. Alternatively you can take the breakfast (£50) or evening meal (£60) packages separately.

If you book the food package you will be asked to pay a 10% deposit to Angling Lines and the balance to the lake when you arrive. All payments at Roseau will be in £’s – so no hassle with the Euro!
