1. Grandes Cimes
Grandes Cimes is a stunning 7 acre lake set in the Champagne region, featuring clear turquoise water and a carefully managed stock of around 250 carp. With a strong average weight of roughly 30lb and carp to over 57lb, it offers anglers the chance to target big fish in a very natural environment.
The venue has just two large double swims, each effectively giving you half the lake to fish. 2. Brocard
Brocard is set in the quiet woodlands of the Champagne region and managed by the well known Bachelier fish farming family. The venue consists of two lakes, Brocard Small and Brocard Large, each offering a slightly different but equally rewarding angling experience.
Brocard Small
Covering 29 acres, this lake is long and narrow, with just four well spaced double swims. This ensures excellent privacy and plenty of water per angler. It holds around 300 carp, including many beautiful mirrors and linears, with a large proportion between 30-50lb and a top weight in the mid fifties. The lake also contains a good head of catfish to over 110lb.

Brocard Large
The bigger of the two lakes, Brocard Large covers 39 acres and offers straight forward fishing for a large head of carp – there are over 550! At least half of these are over 30lb and around 150 fish exceeding 40lb, topped by a current record of 64lb+. Brocard Large also contains a small stock of catfish, along with grass carp and pike, which help maintain the natural balance of the lake.

3. Villefond
Villefond is an intimate 8 acre lake where patience and good watercraft are well rewarded. This is not a runs water, but a venue where careful presentation can lead to truly huge captures. The carp stock has developed exceptionally well, with large numbers of fish now over 40lb and several mirrors and commons pushing beyond 65lb.
The lake has plenty of features including overhanging margins and a tree lined island that can be reached from most swims. There are seven purpose built swims in total, made up of six singles and one double. An optional food package is available, and a basic cabin can be hired for extra comfort. Located in a quiet rural part of the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of France, means it has a real get-away-from-it-all feeling.

4. Fullys Lake
Fullys Lake is a 26-acre gravel pit offering some of the most unique carp fishing that France has to offer. The lake holds an impressive mix of big commons mirrors and a remarkable number of fully scaled and linear fish, which gives the lake its name. With carp now weighing beyond 77lb and many exceptional scale patterns, Fullys is a venue that delivers both size and beauty.

Brand new for 2026, Duquesne is a picturesque 5 acre lake located in peaceful countryside near Pacy-sur-Eure and just under 3 hours from Calais. Booked exclusively for up to 4 anglers, it is ideal for cheap carp fishing in France. The tiered pricing means it remains budget friendly even for small groups.
The lake features a well equipped lakeside cabin which you can fish from, creating a comfortable and very social setting. 6. Emeraude

7. Renarde
Renarde is a beautifully natural 17 acre lake in the Champagne region, around 4 hours from Calais. It’s a genuine hidden gem, ideal for anglers who enjoy peaceful, back‑to‑basics French carping. The lake has a long history, and since 2020 it has been under the expert management of the Bachelier family, adding another quality venue to their well‑known portfolio of French carp lakes.
Renarde offers a lovely mix of features, including bays a central island and overhanging margins, while having very few snags, which makes it suitable for anglers of varied experience. The stock includes around 280 carp, a good mix of mirrors and commons, many originating from the famous La Horre lake.
