Your best tactics/bait/rigs: I fished le anse one at 105yds at range mainline new grange freezer baits 15mm snowman mainline 10mm yellow pineapple pop ups size 6 gardner muggas barbless fox cortex 20lb brown 12'' hooklengths blowback rigs

Were the facilities what you expected? Excellent facilities were provided all one could ask for during our stay
Were you happy with them? More than happy very clean and comfortable a real credit to the owner mehdi

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Most definitley , its a fishery where you could go back time and time again , in fact im going to re book and try november time
Would you recommend our services to a friend? Yes you've been very polite and helpful everything was made very easy once we booked with yourselves

General comments: This was my 1st time at this venue i've heard many stories (from friends) of how well this fishery is run by mehdi the owner and the big fish it contains within the lake and i wasn't disappointed either i broke my pb 4 times during the week , my 1st fish was 48.11lb beating my previous by 3oz i then had anew forty common 40.10 also a new 40 for the lake i then had another common again 43.13 biggest common in the lake i was in dream land at this point i then went onto land a fish of a life time a new pb of 60.02lb mirror what a lake full of dreams .

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Fish for 1 bite at a time used about a 2.5 kilos of boilies all week and about the same in particle avoid trout pellets unless you want sturgeon

Would you recommend our services to a friend? Possibly but we dont like the booking of the ferrys as we prefer to do t ourselfs but thatsthe only way you can fish the venue

General comments: 3rd time we have fished it not easy but thats what makes it interseting and a nice a
man than mehdi you'd be pushed to find

Details of your catches: A total of 47 fish were caught, including mirrors 70lb (pb), 61lb, 59lb (pb), 58lb, 56lb (pb), 10 x 40lb+(pb), commons 3 x 40lb+, sturgeon 4 between 42lb – 56lb (pb), grass carp up to 42lb (pb)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Most fish were caught at range 140+ yard and all carp with exception of 1 came out on mainline cell, sturgeon on large halibut pellet

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, better.
Were you happy with them? Yes, clean toilet/shower with plenty of hot water. Large fridge adequate for 8 anglers plus a chest freezer.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Definitely, but only after rebooking a return trip.
Would you recommend our services to a friend? Yes, hassle free travel, regular updates on venues with genuine angler feedback.

General comments: Weather was terrible all week, we started with 2 days of strong ice cold winds followed by continuous rain and hailstones and just for good measure the heavens opened when packing up. The fishing was quality so no matter what the weather threw at us it didn’t dampen our spirits. All 8 of us had a pb of one species or another and we have all been on annual breaks to france for the past 10 years, which says something about the quality of this lake. As for the lake, just stunning, the pics on the website do not do it justice. Medhi’s a top bloke who’s genuinely interested to hear about your captures and happy to offer guidance if required but will leave you to enjoy your holiday if not. We are already booked for a return next year and only been back a few days. If you like drive and survive style breaks this is up there with the best of em.
