Overview
Nestled in the heart of north-west France, at the end of a woodland track, Carp House is a truly idyllic escape - a private 5-acre lake with carp to over 57lb and your own lakeside lodge just steps from the main swim.
As you approach the gate, the forest opens up to reveal the lake in full. The lodge, with its large terrace, is positioned perfectly on the far bank for panoramic views across the water - this is carp fishing in France with a lodge at its most scenic, and the setting genuinely has the wow factor.
Opened in 2026, the lake has been carefully stocked with a very pretty mix of carp in the years prior. You're likely to catch fish across a wide range of sizes, with 40lb+ carp regularly on the bank, right down to hard-fighting doubles.
This lake is tailored for up to three anglers, with the lodge sleeping up to six guests in total. Whether you’re a small group of anglers or planning to bring along partners or family, this retreat is designed for relaxation and quality time together in between runs - the layout makes it one of our finest carp fishing lakes with accommodation.
Carp House is easily accessible, located just 1.5 hours from the closest port of St. Malo and 2.5 hours from Caen. Calais is 5hrs away.

"A fantastic venue with an intimate and enchanting feel. This is the type of lake that every angler dreams about, silent surrounding filled with wildlife and wild flowers, amazing facilities at the waters edge. Comfortable and well kept swims and most importantly hard fighting pristine carp. This lake will not disappoint its a real gem!"

"21 fish including 4 larger ones, 32lb, 37lb, 42lb and 46lb. The fish in here do love their bait, boilies were the way to go. Larger hook baits singled out the bigger fish. Lovely lake on the edge of a deep wood with nobody else around for a good mile. Very peaceful, really enjoyed my stay."
