Laroussi Fish

Laroussi was not open to the public in the first 33 years it existed, giving the original stock fish plenty of time to mature - it now offers exceptional big carp fishing.

The majority of the carp are 30lb+ and there's also a good diversity of fish - big fully scaled, ghost, linear, two tone carp to name a few. Whilst the lake cannot be drained (due to the topography) for an official netting, owner Mehdi now estimates there to be 300 carp. This is a mix of originals and also carefully picked additional stockings over the years.

There is just one large sturgeon and a few smaller catfish but these are removed when caught. We estimate around 30 grass carp, with an average weight of around 50lb and reaching over 60lb. There are also some huge tench in the lake if that takes your fancy!

Take a look at the customer feedback & you'll see the phenomenal catches which can be enjoyed at this lake. However, as is usually the case with big fish waters the fish don’t give themselves up easily and you’ll need a certain amount of experience to get the best from Laroussi… but work hard and the results are there!
