General Comments:

Angling lines were absolutely amazing, was informed that the ferry we were coming back on had been cancelled, angling lines sorted everything out for us and kept us informed on everything they was doing, sorted a ferry out for the following day earlier than the original ferry, couldn't thank angling lines enough

General Comments:

Mehdi is a fantastic bloke, venue is beautiful, spotless, facilities are great.

Details of your catches:

We were struggling with the week’s weather unfortunately after all the build up, high pressure clear cold nights and occasional foggy mornings, of the 5 of us that went only 3 caught

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small baits in the softer /silty areas rather than on the hard gravel all the fish came from the point and into the main lake rather than the bay at the lodge end . Also be aware that the current population of coots has got a bit out of control and they proved to be a real nuisance, two actually getting themselves hooked

We will return and hopefully get a week with decent conditions but it’s all a gamble when you book a year ahead, Mehdi was a lovely host and very approachable and helped where he could.

General Comments:

I personally was a little let down by the fact that the catfish had been removed, I booked it on the fact they were there! May of saved me from a blank.

Details of your catches:

A 2nd follow up trip to one from earlier this year, saw hot hot hot conditions with temps averaging 35+ we knew it was not going to be easy. Little wind to speak of we had to adapt our strategies and techniques but they were proving difficult to catch nevertheless our group of 2 anglers still managed x4 carp 20lbs, 35lbs, 37lbs & a new pb mirror 43lbs 06oz so all considering a reasonable result could have been a lot worse. It was great to see groups of up to 150 carp across 3 zones chilling in the upper layers but reluctant to feed unfortunately.

General Comments:

This lake might be our new home lol… better than anything UK has to offer us hahaha. Next time the weather gods might be more considerate. Mehdi still positive and friendly as is Mrs Daho and his kids. Thumbs up from us we will be back soon!
