Overview
Old Oaks was opened in March 2006 by Mehdi Daho, following the success of Laroussi just across the road. We’ve worked with Mehdi for over 20 years and his dedication, attention to detail and deep understanding of carp fishing are reflected perfectly in this lake.
What truly sets Old Oaks apart, however, is the unbelievable number of big fish it holds. There are very few lakes in France where you’re almost more likely to catch a 40lb+ carp than something smaller - and Old Oaks is firmly one of them.
This is a water stacked with giants, including an incredible common now over 82lb.
You hire the lake exclusively for the week, for up to five anglers. Old Oaks is a challenging venue, but if you’re looking for a genuine big-carp water where every bite could be special, this lake is right at the top of the list.

Old Oaks accepts non-exclusive bookings for individual anglers in the winter months (roughly last week of Nov to beginning of Feb), with a large winter discount.
