A great week at Old Oaks, really pleased with the result for February. Always a pleasure to meet Mehdi, he has exciting plans for the future of both Old Oaks and Laroussi

Hard lake for experienced anglier but rewards are 2 nd to none

General Comments:

Mehdi was a lovely guy very helpful listen to what he says regarding areas to fish

Details of your catches:

Tough week fishing, conditions not on our side, high pressure, warm days, cold clear nights, no wind. We only had 4 runs all week, which resulted in 4x 40s. 40, 42, 44, 47 all mirrors.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish were caught from the middle, deeper part of the lake, in around 10ft of water. No runs from the far margin at all. All fish caught on 18ml corn topped BUG pop ups.

Shower and kitchen facilities great. Swims need some major TLC and makeover.

Clearly some big fish in this lake, to only have 4 runs and 4x 40s shows there are some big rewards to be had.
