Overview

Zentelles is a 7 acre gravel pit tucked away in the Marne region of north-east France, an easy 3hr40 drive from the port of Calais. The lake remained untouched by anglers for over 30 years and since 2021 has been developed carefully by Thierry and Amandine, preserving its natural character.
Rich in features, it is perfectly suited to anglers who enjoy fishing a more natural lake with a quality head of around 200 carp to over 59lb.
The lake has been carefully laid out with just 3 double swims for a total of 6 anglers. Each swim has electric, a BBQ, picnic table, its own dry toilet and an area to park your vehicle... quite luxurious for a drive and survive we'd say!
You can prebook individual double swims here or it is perfectly suited for groups looking to hire a lake privately.
*Special single angler rate* For the 2026 and 2027 seasons, double swims booked by a single angler qualify for a slightly discounted 'single angler' rate.

"We are lifelong fishing enthusiasts, especially carp fishing. In 2021, we acquired Zentelles, with the aim of creating a place entirely dedicated to anglers, in a peaceful and unspoiled setting, where everyone can fully enjoy their fishing trip in the best possible conditions. In 2024, we continued this adventure with a second venue, Le Sauci. Our goal is simple: to offer anglers lakes teeming with carp, well-managed, with particular attention paid to respecting the fish, preserving the tranquility of the area and ensuring the comfort of our anglers. We're keen to share our passion and do everything we can to welcome international anglers."
